Fresh Look Exterior is a veteran operated, fully insured exterior cleaning company based in Eaton, north of Muncie. Ray Flennery owns it, quotes most of the work himself, and is on a good number of the jobs. That is why the reviews use his first name.

We work north and central Indiana: Hamilton County towns like Noblesville, Fishers, Carmel and Westfield, the Delaware and Madison County towns around home, and Hancock, Henry, Grant, Wayne and Howard County work besides.

Soft washing first, and why that is a position rather than a preference

Nearly everything on a house should be cleaned chemically at low pressure, not blasted. A pressure wand on shingle strips granules. On vinyl it drives water behind the lap. On cedar it lifts fiber, on stucco it takes surface, on old mortar it cuts the joint. None of that shows up the day it happens, which is exactly why it keeps happening.

So we soft wash: solution, dwell time, low pressure rinse. Concrete is the exception, and even there it goes through a rotary surface cleaner so the slab comes out even instead of striped.

What we will not take on

We are an exterior cleaning company and nothing else. We do not do:

• Painting
• Roof replacement
• Major roof repair
• Construction
• Remodeling
• Plumbing
• Interior janitorial and house cleaning
• Any job where high pressure would create an unreasonable risk of damaging the surface

The last item is the one that costs us money. If high pressure would create an unreasonable risk of damaging a surface, we decline the job rather than doing it and hoping. A refused job is cheaper for everyone than a repaired one.
